Week 2 2012: Saturday morning picks!

You’re looking live at another great Saturday morning here in the college football world. We’ve got a Rehab Lemonade cracked open, and the two TVs fired up. College Gameday on the main screen, Big Ten Network on the bottom screen. I think the use of the Big Ten Network as a Saturday morning pregame show is one of the definite signs that college football has gone from occasional use to a developing problem. Whatever, I can quit whenever I want. I’ll be updating this post all morning with picks as they roll in so don’t go anywhere! As for the two games everyone is talking about, our experts are currently sitting at 8 to 5 in favor of Florida over Texas A&M, and 8 to 5 in favor of Georgia over Mizzou.

Week 2 2012: Early Week Picks

Sorry for the late update this week ladies and gents. Its been sort of a slow week as far as predictions go. Not a ton of people picking a ton of games so far. The early week slate of picks are below. There’s some real cupcake picks mixed in here, but picks are picks. Trevor Matich’s prediction strength of schedule is pretty laughable this week coming from the pollsters (i.e. me sitting here on the couch eating chicken nuggets). The most notable prediction not part of the official record is that of one Dr. Lou Holtz, who earlier this week predicted Notre Dame would post eleven wins this season. Last time he made this prediction, I believe they won six games. Check back tomorrow for updates as they roll in, and as always we will be here live all day Saturday.
