Here’s the results of our Week 7 selections. I have to put this week’s loss on Mark May going 4-3 on his picks. A few other mediocre weeks from Tom Luginbill (6-4), Lee Corso and Desmond Howard (both 7-4). This week’s top performers are David Pollack (9-2), Colin Cowherd (6-1), but I’d like to give credit to Robert Smith going 5-1 for being the only analyst other than Howie Schwab to pick Ohio State over Illinois. Maybe its because he’s a huge Ohio State homer; maybe not. Skip Bayless continues to perform at a high level. Through the first 50 picks of his I tracked he was one of my lowest ranked analysts, but this year he has been on fire (7-3 this week).
I’ve also decided to add an experiment each week. I will be asking my girlfriend Jennifer to pick a dozen games a week (including her upset special) to see how she can stack up to some of these so-called experts. She went 8-4 this week, so this should be interesting.
