2016-17 Preseason Predictions: Dari & Mel (featuring Booger McFarland)

This morning our good buddies Dari Nowkhah and Mel Kiper Jr. had their annual college football preseason prediction show.  They were joined for one segment by the SEC Network’s own Booger McFarland for SEC conference predictions.  They went conference-by-conference selecting their conference winner, conference sleeper, overrated team of the conference, and conference player of the year.  They finished off the show with their official playoff predictions for your listening pleasure.

UNC the ACC sleeper
Clemson overrated (only because they won’t win the ACC)
Dalvin Cook ACC player of the year
Oklahoma to win Big 12
Baylor as Big 12 sleeper
TCU overrated
Baker Mayfield Big 12 player of the year
Oregon to win Pac 12
Washington St as Pac 12 sleeper
UCLA overrated
Royce Freeman Pac 12 player of the year
Final Four: Oklahoma, Clemson, LSU, FSU
Clemson to have one loss
FSU undefeated
FSU over LSU to win championship
