Week 8 2021: CFB Analyst picks are graded; results are in!

Week 8 is in the books and the picks from our expert panel of college football analysts are graded. Once again we will be using our experimental GDC Value (Game Day Cole Value) to weight picks.

Lee Corso went 6-5 on the week but missed on his headgear pick of UCLA over Oregon. Celebrity guest picker Bill Walton went 5-6 but put on an amazing performance on the show itself. Winners this week included Tom Fornelli (14-5, 7.755 GDC), Brady Quinn (11-3, 6.886 GDC) and Lou Holtz/Mark May (both 7-0, 6.763 GDC). This week’s winner is David Hale for going 11-2 with a GDC value of 8.471.

Week 7 is in the books and the picks from our expert panel of analysts have been graded. Once again, we will be using our experimental GDC Value (Game Day Cole Value) to weight picks and assign value.

Lee Corso won his headgear pick going with Georgia over Kentucky. Lee Corso also blew away the competition picking games this week going 10-1 straight up with a GDC Value of 8.705. Dennis Dodd from CBS Sports came in second this week going 12-4 with a GDC Value of 7.35. Celebrity guest picker Jeff Foxworthy went 7-4 on his picks with a GDC Value of 2.575.
