It was a so-so week for most of our panel of expert prognosticators and pickers due to a strange slate of games this week. Most of the games this weekend were cupcake games (I’m looking in your direction SEC) with a few big time matchups which were tough to predict.
Winners this week include Desmond Howard (4-2), Greg McElroy (5-0), and Jason Sehorn (4-1). Our undisputed winner this week was Phil Steele at 9-2. Our losers this week were Kirk Herbstreit (2-5), and Todd McShay (1-4). Jennifer had a rough week at 2-4, and since I hope to keep this marriage going, I won’t elaborate on that except to say that there an effigy of David Shaw being burned in our backyard last night.
The Oregon Duck “Puddles” went 5-3 as our special guest on Gameday, and Lee Corso went 3-4 including a win on his headgear pick of Oregon over Michigan State. Charley the cat also picked Oregon State, and is 2-0 on the season. Everyone else was somewhere in between, with lots of 3-1 or 1-3 records.
