Another Thursday means it is time for more picks on this weekend’s upcoming games. The early picks are starting to trickle in and we will be updating as more and more come in, so check back often for the latest updates.
Disclaimer: Weekday picks may vary by Saturday. Use at your own risk.
Edit: The slate of picks is going to be light this week. Cole’s Gameday Blog has taken our show on the road this weekend, so resources are limited. Next week we will be back in full force.

I do hate to haunt the blog with my constant Ole Miss noise-making, but other than my dad, no one around is near as into college ball as the readers and poster of this entertaining page of insight…so here’s what’s on my mind about our big game tomorrow!
I enjoy seeing what the analysts say regarding the score of our games they pick. I see so many here saying TAMU 28-34ish or Ole Miss 28-34ish. While I agree that it will be close, these analysts seem to forget the defense that the Rebels have. The first string defense has allowed only one touchdown this year. (3 total allowed as a unit, 2 coming in blow-outs by the depth chart). And that is with Alabama in the rear-view mirror no less! TAMU has an explosive offense, and as long as the Rebel secondary can keep up with Jake Spavital’s receivers, we’ll have them locked down. But QB to QB, I’d say it’s going to be a pretty even game.
People keep mentioning good-Bo/bad-Bo when it comes to the Ole Miss offense. This is such crap. Bo makes his throws, and puts them where they need to be – it’s on the record by Hugh Freeze that the coaching staff and moreover, the receivers blow their routes and it leads to wide open interceptions. Now, would a great QB allow that to happen? No…but he’s not a GREAT QB. He’s a good QB that his team would follow into the the lion’s pit.
In summary, if the Ole Miss receivers are on their game, the O-line holds up and the defensive backs do their job, and we don’t turn the ball over, we’ll win by 10. (Don’t look for a field goal from our special teams unit…I’ve applied for kicker and they are interviewing me next week….:P)
It’ll be a slug-fest, nail-biter, face-ripper to be sure. I’m picking Ole Miss, marginally.
This is serious sports analysis. I’m not sure it belongs on a place such as this. We prefer breaking down games based on what Skip Bayless and our pet cat think. However, thanks for the input good sir. Hotty Toddy!!!
Right..lol..well, as I said, I had to get it out…cause my fence post is tired of me talking to it about football I think.
Hotty Toddy!
