2018-19 CFB Season: Mid-season grades!

Welcome back everyone.  We just completed week 9 of our 2018-19 college football season and that’s probably about halfway through the year.  I’m not really sure.  With a week 0, a single Army-Navy game in week 14, conference championship weekend, and bowl games, it is hard to tell.  So yeah, I’m calling it halfway.

Every year I like to stop down halfway through the season and post the season grades and standings.  The pressure is on down the home stretch to make big moves picking games since I assume all of these people read my blog.  Here’s the mid-season grades.  Enjoy.

Week 9 2018: #CFB Picks are graded; results are in!

Week 9 of our college football season is in the books, and that means our picks and predictions are graded.  We had quite a few upsets which made for some tough performances this week.  Let’s get to it.

Winners this week were in short supply but include Marcus Spears (4-1), Andrea Adelson (7-4), Jeff Ma (4-1 ATS), Steve Coughlin (3-1 ATS), Scott Spreitzer (2-1 ATS), and Dusty Dvoracek (3-2 ATS).  However this week’s official win goes to Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica going 5-1 against the spread this week.

Losers this week were plentiful, and include Jesse Palmer (1-3), Chris Doering (2-3), Mark May (4-5), Bruce Feldman (5-6 straight up, 5-6 ATS), Rufus Peabody (2-3 ATS), and Danny Kanell (3-4 ATS).  Our official loss this week will be shared by Pat Forde and his partner Pete Thamel for both going 2-4 ATS.

Lee Corso booked his first overall losing week this year going 6-8 on his picks, and losing his headgear pick Florida over Georgia.  Bear’s Bank went 3-0 again this week, so he’s heating up down the stretch this season.  Special guest celebrity Evander Holyfield went 8-6 on his picks this week.  @GamedayJen squeaked out with a winner this week at 9-6.  Everyone else was somewhere in the middle, so check out the full results below to see how your favorite (or most hated) personality did this week.
