Army/Navy is this weekend, but bowl season is upon us. Brady Quinn and Emory Hunt were on CBS Sports HQ picking the first slate of bowl games against the spread. I think they’ll be back at some point with the rest of the bowl games, but here’s your first official bowl picks.

Week 14 2021: CFB Gambling picks are graded; results are in!

Week 14 is in the books and the picks from our expert panel of gamblers has been graded. Picks against the spread are graded up top and money line picks are graded at the bottom. Let’s dive right in.

Bear’s Board went 3-0 on the week with Fallica going 7-2 against the spread. That makes him our official winner on the week. Scott Van Pelt’s Winners went 5-1 on the week. Phil Steele’s picks on the Phil Steele Plus tour on Youtube went 2-1. Joey Galloway’s non-Virtual-Locks on his podcast went 4-2 on the week. Other winners include Danny Kanell (13-8), Dennis Dodd (7-3) and Pete Thamel (4-1).

As for money line sprinkles, the Bear won the sprinkles this week with a profit of 5.15 units (assuming one unit plays on each bet). That makes him the first official ATS and money line combined winner of the week I think. Congratulations to the Bear on a wonderful week.

Week 14 2021: CFB Analyst picks are graded; results are in!

Week 14 is in the books and our college football analyst picks are graded. Once again we will be using our experimental GDC Value (Game Day Cole Value) to assign value to picks for grading.

Lee Corso won his headgear pick choosing Alabama to upset Georgia, and the coach went 4-4 on the week overall for a GDC Value of .022. Celebrity guest picker Zac Brown went 5-3 on the week with a GDC of 1.818. With the light slate of games and a couple of upsets we didn’t really have any huge GDC performances this week. Dennis Dodd takes home the crown this week going 7-3 straight up with a GDC of 3.847.
