Week 4 2019: #CFB Picks w/ Stanford Steve & The Bear… kinda…

Alright people, I know you want the week 4 picks from Stanford Steve and the Bear this week but we’ve got a situation.  For week 3, these guys absolutely loved the slate and gave out more picks than usual.  If you followed those picks you won your ass off in week 3, so you should be thankful for what they gave you.

With that being said, the guys hate the week 4 slate.  They both said they are struggling to even come up with games to pick in their ESPN Chalk column this week.  They talked a lot of games on the podcast this week and picked almost none with confidence.  You should listen to the podcast yourself if you want advice.  I want to make it very clear before you read any further:

THE FOLLOWING PICKS ARE NOT OFFICIAL PICKS, SHOULD NOT BE TREATED AS OFFICIAL PICKS, AND WILL NOT BE GRADED AS OFFICIAL PICKS.

These are pretty much the leans they gave out for week 4 on the podcast.  If you want their official picks then you’ll have to get them from ESPN Chalk tomorrow and see what they come up with, because they had nothing official in the podcast this week.  With that being said, here’s some leans and you’re on your own if you bet them.

Stanford Steve:
Notre Dame+14 vs Georgia
Texas A&M-3.5 vs Auburn (but he said buy it down to 3 if you can)
Texas-5.5 vs Oklahoma State
Utah-3.5/4 vs USC
He kinda likes Colorado+7.5 vs Arizona State

Chris “The Bear” Fallica:
Texas A&M-3.5 vs Auburn (he said he could get behind laying the points in this game)
Oklahoma State vs Texas over 73.5
App State+3 vs UNC (he thinks App State wins outright!)
FSU/Louisville: He said he could play Louisville in this game (+6.5)

Week 3 2019: #CFB Picks are graded; results are in!

Week 3 is in the books and the college football picks are graded.

Our straight up winner this week is Phil Steel at 13-2 on the week.  Our ATS winner is Stanford Steve, who is on a run the likes of which we may not have seen before.  He posted a 6-0-1 week on his Chalk picks.  Congratulations to both.

Lee Corso missed his headgear pick on the week going with Iowa State to upset Iowa.  He went 7-6 on the week overall.  Super Dogs went a combined 3-1 on the week.  Bear’s Bank went 3-0 on the week including a squeaker with Iowa State+1.5.  Special guest celebrity Eric Church went 7-6 on the week.  @GamedayJen started the morning off tough but pulled out a winner in the late games going 9-5.  Everyone else is somewhere in between to check out the full grades below to see how your favorite (or most hated) personality did this week.
